Will and Testament, a family chronicle, countless Lehnbriefe, the copy of the Hayner book with the history of the town was destroyed in Fleglerkrieg Bettlershayn (Sign. A 19k I, No.. 615) and Acts of the Hayner mayor (u.a. Liesegang) from centuries, already provided me with extensive historical background.

William was born the son of Liesegang Liesegang hotel owner Emil (1858-1929) and his wife, Charlotte Pabst from Lipprechterode (1870-1944) His father William Edward (1810-1880) Master tailor in Ilfeld, was the brother of my great-great-great-great-grandfather, Friedrich August Liesegang, Gardeners in Ileld.
